BUSINESS CHALLENGES

When Rebecca was working on a project or assignment, being 100% committed to that client was a priority. As a freelance consultant finding the time to keep on top of the admin side of the business, stay in regular touch with past clients and identify new business opportunities was creating unnecessary stress.

THE SOLUTION

The relationship between Kate from the Paperwork Team and Rebecca was a flexible arrangement with hours agreed weekly, based on specific requirements, over a period of 6 months.

Every Friday during either a conference call or over a cup of coffee we would agree a ‘to do list’ and assign tasks accordingly.

Projects over this period included creating & producing training material and presentations, liaising with Rebecca’s clients on her behalf, keeping on top of quotations, invoicing, booking hotels and undertaking some telephone research; a project Rebecca would have had to turn down based on her commitments at that time. 

THE RESULT

As a one person business the relationship meant that Rebecca also benefitted not just from having  someone else to delegate to but given Kate’s experience and background in the contact centre industry an all important sounding board for ideas and planned new initiatives.

Kate from The paperwork team provided me with vital work support to ease some of the pressure of running a business single handed in addition to becoming a valued member of my team. There is no doubt that without this 6 month breathing space Galliard would have failed to deliver the high quality service that had become its trademark.
